Koh Chang (Ko Chang) is one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. It is also the second largest island in Thailand. The island is part of a national park that includes scenic waterfalls, step hillsides and wild jungle. The National park is made of of 47 Islands in total, most of which are uninhabited. Being part of the National Park has left the majority of the island untouched.

Two of the most popular waterfalls in Koh Chang are Nam Tok Tham Mayom and Nam Tok King Rama. Take your swimming costume just in case you get the chance to have a dip under the falls.

Most of the Island is covered by rainforest and plantations. The local wild life includes Snakes, wild Boar and Monkeys are a regular sight along the road.

The source of income on the island is from fishing, and rubber and coconut plantations. The largest town on Koh Chang is the fishing village of Klong Son. Tours are available around the Island which are fairly cheap or you can hire a moped/motor bike/car.
